Laura Whitehorn is an activist. She is an organizer with the RAPP (Release Aging People In Prisons) campaign, and a senior editor at POZ magazine. In the 1960s, she was an organizer with Students for a Democratic Society and then the Weathermen. Whitehorn served 14 years in prison for her connection to a 1983 bombing at the U.S. Capitol.
