Rithika is Economic Justice Editor at Nonprofit Quarterly. She lives and writes in Providence, where she is finishing her dissertation on representations of work in nineteenth century novels. She is the first elected president of the graduate student union at Brown, GLO-AFT Local 6516, and a founding member of Reclaim RI, a grassroots organization dedicated to building people power in the ocean state.
