Jeff Singer , a clinical social worker and community organizer, is an instructor at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. He worked at the Baltimore City Department of Social Services and Health Care for the Homeless for forty years doing outreach, child abuse work, case management, organizing, advocacy, and administration. Singer helped establish the Baltimore Homeless Union, the Homeless Persons Representation Project, the People's Homesteading Group, CASH - City Advocates In Solidarity with the Homeless, and works with Housing Our Neighbors. He has published a plethora of articles and book chapters on homelessness, housing, health care, and justice.
