After his departure as head of the International Atomic Energy Agency and a 12-year absence from his home country, Mohamed ElBaradei has given calls for constitutional reform new momentum in the country.
Elbaradei led a large protest on Friday in Alexandria demanding an end to what thousands of demonstrators called state-sponsored police brutality.
The protest comes one week after a young man died in police custody in the coastal city.
