Farajii Muhammad

Farajii Muhammad is a young nonprofit professional and media personality from Baltimore. Farajii serves as the Director for Peace By Piece Baltimore, a program of the American Friends Service Committee. In 1999, Farajii co-founded (NLLC) New Leadership Learning Center, Inc. at the age of 19. Farajii has over 15 years of experience working with young people and has centered his initiatives around one simple concept, redefining leadership for the next generation. In 2006, Farajii was granted the Echoing Green Fellowship for Social Entrepreneurs to continue his work of organizing and training youth. Currently, Farajii is the host of the community based, youth oriented program "Listen Up" that airs on public radio 88.9 WEAA FM (Morgan State University). "Listen Up" also garnered the award for "Best New Media" from the Association of Black Media Workers

Khadijah Austin

Khadijah Austin is a Program Coordinator for Peace by Piece Atlanta. She graduated from Agnes Scott College in 2011 with a Bachelor's in History and a focus in African American studies. After graduation Austin became an AmeriCorp member and worked as the Children and Youth Program Coordinator for Hands on Atlanta. As a member Austin recognized her passion for teaching and serving underprivileged children which lead her to become a preschool teacher at the YWCA of Greater Atlanta. While at the YWCA she also volunteered as a Racial Justice Facilitator, Peace by Piece member and Atlanta Masjid Community Liaison for the East Atlanta Village Farmer's Market.
