Raw footage of people in streets of Gaza following UN vote recognizing Palestine as a non-member state
Story Transcript
Hundreds poured into the streets of Gaza city Thursday night following the UN vote.
The final vote gave Palestine non-member status at the United Nations, making it the 194th country. Although the move was mostly symbolic, it allows the Palestinian territories to access international institutions like the ICC.
Hamas flags were seen flying side by side Fatah flags.
Hamas did not support the PA’s bid at the United Nations, but said the outcome was a victory for the Palestinian struggle.
