Afghan civilian death toll rises

A new UN report says the number of civilians killed in Afghanistan has jumped by 24 per cent compared to last year. It says while car and roadside bombs used by the Taliban and other fighters are the biggest overall killers of civilians, airstrikes are the main cause of civilian deaths by coalition forces.
