Allison Rich is the Director of the Climate Crisis Bureau, and works to expand our coverage on climate change and the environment. Her work has focused on sharing complex information with diverse audiences to expand access to equitable solutions for a livable future.
Prior to this, she co-founded the Maryland Environmental Health Network and the Baltimore Green Schools Network.
She has served as Chair of Education & Communications for the Maryland Climate Change Commission, as President of Filbert Street Garden, and on the Board of the Environmental Justice Partnership and the Children’s Environmental Health Network.
She grew up in a community with water contaminated by toxic pesticides and has supported many communities to increase access to safe water and environments.
