The Public option is suposed to give insurance companies "competition" to suposedly drive prices down. That's the theory. If it wasn't working before why will it work now? The Single Payer plan was suposed to be the social plan to cover everyone and not cost as much. Health care should be a right. What they're going to end up with is a plan that works like auto insurance does now. Maybe you can't afford it but you get a ticket if you don't have insurance. That will really change the way some people look at the choice of buying health insurance or buying food.

It is very simple really, we give Israel 3.2 billion dollars every year, to kill innocent Palestinians, and clamp down on GAZA for no reason other than collective punishment. 3.2 billions to a country that doesn't need the money in the first place. Israel is an exporting country with more money per ca-pita than the US. Medicare for all Americans would be taking care of just by moving that money from killing innocent Palestinians to taking care of us Americans that need this health care, well to be healthy in order to keep this country Healthy. The Public Option will be a stepping stone to Universal Health care. And we'll have to fight for it here more in America, than the Canadians did. We've been fighting for it for decades.

The Public Option is a front for corporate-government fascism. This is not an "option" at all -- you will be forced to buy a policy from the death panel health insurers or be fined a hefty several thousand dollars. Don't believe this drivel; Canada got single payer without having to step through this moronic hoop. Please, only support Single Payer/Medicare for All.
