    A group claiming to be Taliban fighters parade what they say are election campaign workers and warn they will chop off the finger anyone who votes. Further violence has erupted tonight in Afghanistan on the eve of the country's presidential elections. A wave of attacks across the country have killed at least six election workers as the Taliban claim more attacks are planned for the capital. This morning police stormed a bank in central Kabul close to the presidential palace, killing three insurgents who'd taken it over. Further south, two members of the coalition forces were killed in Uruzgan This morning a local cameraman went to Ghazni, south of Kabul, on behalf of Channel 4 News to meet the Taliban, who had apparently set up a roadblock on a road to Salar. And in the capital, President Karzai has asked local media not to report on the violence so that Afghans are not deterred from voting tomorrow.
