This morning police stormed a bank in central Kabul close to the presidential palace, killing three insurgents who'd taken it over. Further south, two members of the coalition forces were killed in Uruzgan This morning a local cameraman went to Ghazni, south of Kabul, on behalf of Channel 4 News to meet the Taliban, who had apparently set up a roadblock on a road to Salar. And in the capital, President Karzai has asked local media not to report on the violence so that Afghans are not deterred from voting tomorrow.
