What a tragedy. If I had half the courage this woman had I could conquer the world.

AlanRedman: You are completely correct. Many posters on this website willfully choose to consistently blame all ills on Western societies and their governments / security forces, ignoring alternative, more plausible, explanations. For some reason, transparentlies chooses to ignore the fact that all of these murdered Russian activists were exposing illegal, reprehensible activity by Russian security forces / militias supported by Russia. OF COURSE Russia has a LOT to gain by eliminating these activists! And, even more importantly, the West is in need of Russia’s support in order to stop Iranian nuclear ambitions. Would anybody, and I mean ANYBODY, be stupid enough to jeopardize that for the sake of “embarrassing” Russia…??

'This is all one big psy-op game by Western Intel', what a stupid comment. Your arguments are flawed to say the least. Of course there are elements in Russia that have something to gain from the death of these people, just look at what they were bravely trying to do! It doesn't mean that the Kremlin was involved, there are plenty of other groups that could of done it but we'll probably never know who. So MI6/Mossad did this did they? What, was it a joint operation? What about the CIA, why weren't they invited by their pals? Just because they might benefit from Russia's embarrassment doesn't mean you can jump to stating that they definitely did do it. Some people seem to think that the criminal elements in our countries (MI6 etc.) are the only bad forces in the world and that other countries are pure and good and have no corrupting forces of their own. Don't you think that's a bit of a stupid and simplistic world view?

The Kremlin has little to nothing to gain from killing off people like Estemirova, Politkovskaya, or even Litvinenko. The MOSSAD and/or MI6, however, along with the elements surrounding, supporting and funding them, have plenty to gain by further barrassing Moscow. Former Russian premier Yegor Gaidar even pointed to them in his Financial Times op-ed right after being poisoned in late 2006. This is all one big psy-op game by Western intel...
