In the first part of this interview, Tariq Amin Khan and Sharmini Peries discuss the media coverage of the recent violence in Mumbai. Major media outlets have been pointing the finger at Pakistan as the origin of the terrorists involved and at the Pakistani authorities for their failure to prevent the disaster. Amin-Khan speaks of what he thinks the Indian and Pakistani governments can do now to calm the tension in the region and their dispute over Kashmir, which he believes is at the center of the incident. In the second part they talk about US relations with India, Indian elections and positive developments in the region.
