It's NOT over Uhlinger. It's only just beginning. You have to remember that Rockefeller and Rothchild are just names with money. Take away the money and they become as nothing as the rest of us seem to think we are. Well, I'm here to tell you that we are more than THEY. Not in numbers alone, but in fine spirit and imagination, once we let it loose! Imagine 'them' gone in a positive spirit and it shall become so, if enough of us want it! Enough of us have to believe that evil is just a word and NOT to be feared! Fear is a man-made, self-creation, which these people exploit to the full. They are amoral and destructive. But then you know the old saying, what doesn't kill you makes you strong. Read 'The Secret' and believe. Anything is possible and always has been, we just need to unlock the floodgates with the right combination and that combination is individual.

I want to thank kaijansen for his link http://www.kaijansen.com/Pg6.01TRUTH-LINKS.html. It was very edifying to see Rep Wexler give his impassioned speech for the impeachment of Cheney. Though I said in an earlier post that it would be nice if this indictment was only the first, I don't hold my breath that these people will really suffer for their treasonous actions. And any hope for getting as deep as the Rockefellers is really pie-in-the-sky. This secret government, which has been reported on far and wide, from everyone to Eisenhower to Bill Moyers, would implement the biggest "terrorist attack" on U.S. soil, that would make even their 9/11 attack look miniscule, to keep their power. No, we'll be lucky if they let a few bad man get thrown to the dogs, but their power is well protected and probably will never be known in it's full scope.

Though delving into anything involving anyone like Cheney will surely be met a backlash demand to drop the whole thing, without examining the merits of the charges, and a suffocatingly apathetic public. Regardless, this must be allowed to move forward and, if there is substance, let the public catch-up later.

… AND SO IT BEGINS … Hopefully, this will be the first of MANY Bush administration indictments …

Following the Constitution is not crypto-faschism, and what they did is a heck of a lot better than what the gun grabbing socio-communists will be doing in the years to come.

a567and8 2008-11-19

Lots of luck. Those crypto-fascists [Bush, et al.] have sewn up everything and the system is so narrow that all members of both parties are implicated. Thus, no prosecution will ever succeed. AND, in the next swing of the pendulum the so called Repubicans will continue to advance their move towards a full-blown Fascist regime with a face like Sarah Pukin fronting it. And we will act as if we don't know what hit to us.

Good for the people of Texas. Maybe they'll finally start to clean up their act and stop enabling the kind of upwardly mobile corruption that has so dominated our political process. However, since Pelosi betrayed her constituents by not pushing for impeachment, it is far too late to do anything about Cheney. If Karl Rove can ignore a Federal summons and get away with it, what makes anyone think for even a second that Cheney will ever see any meaningful legal action carried out against him? And even if such a process started, George W Bush is going to hand out a record amount of pardons when his administration ends - including one to himself. Pelosi made it possible, and any good intentions Obama may have to continue prosecution after his inauguration (which is a pipe dream anyway) will be completely crippled by the pardons.

jashonsmith 2008-11-19

I'm not getting my hopes up. He will never step into a courtroom and even if he does it will go nowhere. Even if he were to be convicted of something he would be pardoned. Presidents and their cronies are above the law.

LOLOLOLOL! Sorry--cannot help myself--hey, they started on Capone for tax evasion--URGE OBAMA AND HIS TEAM TO COMTIMUE THE INVESTIGATION---thanks!

Now hold your breath and count to One-hundred! This MAY be the beginning of a cascade effect, which MAY annihilate the wrong-doers in your fair country! But hold your breath... ..there is a long way to go before one can say, 'at last, peace at last'! Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush, etc... puppets on a string. The real enemy of your country is David Rockefeller and family! Get rid of them and the American people may be able to breath freely, instead of being herded down the road to oblivion! Dick is not your average ham sandwich but he's still just a ham sandwich.

Privately run for profit prisons will always be prone to abuses and corruption, and as far as I am concerned they are completely UnConstitutional..!

tbarj 2008-11-19

Cynicism is certainly warranted when it comes to politicians saving the soul of America. That said, America cannot remove itself from the moral vortex it entered during the Reagan era, and has been in ever since, without prosecuting the Bush/Cheney junta. Pelosi and Obama will not do this for us, because they are mere politicians, not moral leaders. Pardoned or not, if Americans allow crimes against humanity to go unpunished, they will continue to descend into a hell of their own making.

BBC too http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7737093.stm Cheney charged over jail 'abuses' A judge has yet to approve the indictment against Mr Cheney A Texas grand jury has charged US Vice-President Dick Cheney for "organised criminal activity" related to alleged abuse of private prison inmates. The indictment says Mr Cheney - who has invested $85m (£56m) in a company that holds shares in for-profit prisons - conspired to block an investigation. The indictment has not been seen by a judge, who could dismiss it. Mr Cheney's spokeswoman declined to comment, saying his office had not yet received a copy of the charges. One Texas lawyer said the charges were politically motivated. 'Conflict of interest' The indictment was overseen by county District Attorney Juan Guerra, an outgoing prosecutor at the end of his term of office. He cites the case of Gregorio De La Rosa, who died on 26 April, 2001 inside a private prison in Willacy County,

To put it in perspective, if the Prime Minister of Australia gets shown not wearing his seat-belt, the public outrage is huge,....and we're considered the convicts over here? I think the USA has lost its way somehow if you can't seem to sack your Head of State for something like corruption, theft or even a blow job. How far CAN you go over there?

Brooklynstarr 2008-11-19

Let us not forget that Aaron Burr continued to serve as Vice President even after being convicted of murder in both New York and New Jersey. Regardless, after everything is said and done, Halliburton's handlers will only be vindicated in the end by the endless stream of lawyers and money. They'll make Dick Cheney look as if he was Mother Theresa - because every day people just stand by and allow themselves to be manipulated, unaware of their slavery to the dollar bill.

RMorgan 2008-11-19

Let's wait until the string of Presidential pardons before we get our hopes up.

Uhlinger 2008-11-19

God willing, these people will spend the rest of their days and their ill-gotten fortunes fighting the blizzard of indictments that should follow this one. Hopefully there will be time left for them to spend behind bars also. Vincent Bugliosi, on the other hand, has said publicly, that if allowed, he will seek the death penalty in the case he so vigorously pursues.

LISA CORTEZ, ANCHOR, NEWSCHANNEL 5: Good afternoon, everyone. As you first saw on newschannel5.tv, a Willacy County grand jury has indicted the vice president of the United States.

OSCAR ADAME, ANCHOR, NEWSCHANNEL 5: NEWSCHANNEL 5's Stephanie Stone is on the story. She's live in Willacy County with details. Stephanie.

STEPHANIE STONE, NEWSCHANNEL 5 REPORTER: District Attorney Juan Guerra refuses to comment about the indictments, but he did say he presented a lot of evidence about a lot of corrupt people. The indictments are not public record yet, but attorneys for some of the people involved have confirmed the allegations, and they've confirmed who's involved. At this point we can tell you the vice president of the United States is named in that indictment, as well as the former attorney general Alberto Gonzales, state Senator Eddie Lucio Jr., Judge Migdalia Lopez, Judge Janet Leal, and Willacy County district clerk Gilbert Lozano, among others. Guerra recently told NEWSCHANNEL 5 that he was investigating corruption within the private prison system following an inmate's death. He also alleged that there were a number of public officials and elected leaders who are involved and who are profiting from the prisons. Some of the attorneys involved have said they plan to file motions to quash the indictment sometime this week. We talked to the district clerk about all of this. We'll tell you what he has to say, coming up tonight on NEWSCHANNEL 5 at 6:00. We also talk to Dick Cheney's press secretary, and we'll tell you what they have to say, coming up tonight at 6:00. For now, reporting live in Willacy County, Stephanie Stone, NEWSCHANNEL 5 at 5:00.

ADAME: Alright. In Stephanie's story, she mentions a couple of judges in her report, and NEWSCHANNEL 5 has learned that the indictments out of Willacy County with those judges taking a toll on the courts in Cameron County.

CORTEZ: That's right. As you just mentioned, two state district judges are off the bench right now because of these indictments. NEWSCHANNEL 5's Rita Garcia is following this story. She's live in the Cameron County newsroom with those details. Rita.

RITA GARCIA, NEWSCHANNEL 5 REPORTER: State district judges Janet Leal and Migdalia Lopez are both listed on that indictment, so they cannot hear any cases right here at the Cameron County Courthouse. Now, we've learned Judge Leal was hearing a murder case this morning when she was told to step down because she's under investigation. A retired state district judge was called in to finish up the day. And in Judge Lopez's courtroom, the 197th, it's lights out.
