The conflict in Pakistan continues unabated. An Afghan diplomat was kidnapped near Peshawar on Monday, a Marriott hotel in Islamabad was hit with a suicide bomb killing at least 53 people, and the killing of Pakistani villagers by a US missile has strained relations with the US. Retired Pakistani General Talit Masood believes that " if the Taliban continue with this activity, I think there is going to be a civil war."
