A friend who lives in Thailand tells me those protesting against the govt are largely paid to do so and that the current govt seems to be at odds with the former (and heavily corrupt) controlling elite. Analysis to go with the footage would be nice.

Thai resistance to the current prime minister began months ago. TRN coverage, though the linking of the Guardian video, brings warranted attention to the political issues in this part of Southeast Asia.
