Hylton says that the leadership of the Bolivian state of Santa Cruz wants to create a system of
"autonomy" that amounts to secession. They oppose Morales' reforms and overtly call for the
'leadership' of light skinned people over the indigenous peoples. BioForrest Hylton is the author of Evil Hour in Colombia (Verso, 2006), and with Sinclair Thomson, co-author of Revolutionary Horizons: Past and Present in Bolivian Politics (Verso, 2007). He is a regular contributor to New Left Review and NACLA Report on the Americas.

I don't think the Succession will or can succeed at all! They simply don't have the international support or the internal resources to go up against the Morale's government. Some neo-fascist thugs simply won't cut it... It's only a matter of time. =D |
