| Killer Drones for Kids! | |
| Yes that's right. Kids programming out there is selling the idea that robotic planes that assassinate America's targets du jour are cool and fun. Lets hope that the drones home in on their advocates and creators first, when the machines take over. | |

| China forges links with Iran - 15 oct 09 | |
| Wen Jiabao, the Chinese premier, has made it clear he does not agree with Western demands for sanctions over Tehran's disputed nuclear programme, insisting he will maintain "close co-operation" with Iran. Oil exports account for nearly half of Iran's revenues - being cut off from the West means most is exported to Asian countries and a big percentage of that to China. In return China is investing billions in Iran's gas and oil fields. And as Al Jazeera's Nazanine Moshiri reports from Tehran, the Iranian capital, their trade links are becoming stronger. | |

| Colombian armed groups recruiting child soldiers | |
| The Colombian government's 41-year war against the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Farc) has become increasingly dangerous for children. The group is looking more and more at child soldiers - boys and girls below the age of 18 - as it seeks to recruit new fighters. The Colombian government says there are 9,000 soldiers in that age group in irregular armies, but independent sources say the number is closer to 11,000. Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports from San Jose de Guaviare in Colombia. | |
