Cardin joined Bob McIntyre of the Citizens for Tax Justice and Heather Boushey of the Center for American Progress at a press conference this afternoon to discuss Republican threats to raise taxes on middle-class families and small businesses. As Democrats fight to permanently extend tax cuts for small businesses and the middle class, Republicans are holding those tax cuts hostage in order to secure even bigger giveaways for millionaires and CEOs who ship American jobs overseas -- giveaways that would add $700 billion to our deficit. | |
