| Graeme Smith Reports From Pakistan on Questions Raised About Osama bin Laden's Home & Killing | |
| 5 May 2011 DemocracyNow.org - Numerous questions have been raised on how Osama bin Laden could have been living in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad just down the street from Pakistan's premier military academy. For more information, Demcracy Now! interviews Graeme Smith, an award-winning foreign correspondent for The Globe and Mail newspaper in Canada, reporting in Abbottabad. CIA Director Leon Panetta has reportedly said Pakistan was either "knowledgeable or incompetent" when it came to bin Laden's whereabouts. Some evidence has emerged to indicate that the Pakistani military may have had a direct role in harboring bin Laden. Meanwhile, the Pakistani government is claiming it warned U.S. intelligence two years ago about the compound where bin Laden was killed. Watch Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQUez7mWhVk | |

| Tornado Devastates Alabama, Southeast: Katrina without 3 days warning | |
| Uploaded by lauraflanders on 4 May 2011 One of the deadliest tornadoes in US history, over a mile and a half wide, touched down in Tuscaloosa, Alabama last week, with devastation extending across seven states. More than 350 fatalities have been reported, 80 people are still missing in Tuscaloosa alone, and over a thousand people remain hospitalized with critical injuries. The Alabama state Emergency Management Agency is calling the aftermath in Tuscaloosa "Katrina, without three days warning..." While the networks are wall-to-wall Bin Laden, with or without budgets or even homes - survivors are getting the story out.. To compile this piece GRITtv's Rebecca MacDonald relied on eyewitnesses -- many of them students of University of Alabama assistant professor Dr. Rachel Raimist. Student Trey Moe's graduation was to be this week. Distributed by Tubemogul. | |
