Security forces in Kuwait have fired tear gas to disperse thousands of opposition supporters.
The people took to the streets despite a ban on protests and a government warning that it would mobilise the army to stop the march.
The opposition has been protesting for weeks against changes to election laws, ahead of polls in December.
Al Jazeera's Dominic Kane reports.
