The week begins on a shaky note as protests rock the country from north to south to the east. After barely surviving the political crisis that it was plunged into after deciding to introduce tough reforms, the government is faced with an onslaught right in the power corridors of Delhi, former ally Mamata Banerjee is causing quite a stir protesting against the government's reforms push. In Kolkata, the Congress and the Left are both taking out rallies fighting for the people's plank. In Andhra Pradesh, the fight for a separate Telangana is simply intensifying. While protests against the Kudankulam nuclear plant continue down south, it's the Cauvery water dispute which is boiling.
